Glasgow based IT specialist Cloud Cover IT’s in house race team headed back overjoyed last week after their performance in the final of the Cartek 750 Club Enduro Championship in Belgium.

The Porsche Cayman race car sponsored by OPG Vehicle Graphics, Exolta Capital Partners, Palazzo Kitchens, Glasgow Gin, Forth Valley Chamber of Commerce, Beatsons Cancer and 3CX and SP Marketplace received a podium finish at the famous F1 track.

In the 2 hour race the team endured near misses, technical niggles and faced a disaster when the car got a puncture at 135mph. However, the driver Alaisdair Gauld fought marvellously to bring the high speed vehicle under control to attain 3rd place in their championship class.

“A podium finish had been our ultimate goal throughout the 2017 championship. We are heading back to Scotland with a happy team, both here and in the office. Our Sponsors have also been overjoyed with the news”

- Lance Gauld, Director of Cloud Cover IT.
